HEARING

Something’s wrong

with my hearing. Hearing

Hearing (or audition;

adjectival form: "auditory"

or "aural") is the ability

to perceive sound

by detecting vibrations

through an organ

such as the ear. It is one

of the traditional five

senses. It just feels like

there's liquid cement

in my ears. “Ponzi scheme?”
“Fonzi’s team?” I gave both

ears a good poke and a slap

to shake out any ear wax.

“YOU need to speak up

when you talk!”
The inability to hear

is called deafness.

Lyric is designed

I asked if I could have

the last donut at work

and my coworker

called me a "goathead"

for no reason at all.
